Where You Will Work

West Allis Medical Center is a level 4 Trauma, Primary Stroke, Geriatric Certified Emergency Department that averages around 42,000 visits per year. Staff provide care for adult and pediatric patients experiencing acute trauma, acute illnesses, chronic health care conditions, women's health issues, and behavioral health concerns. Partner with a highly skilled team of Emergency Nursing staff who value strong relationships as part of a collaborative team to positively impact patient care.

We’re

Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • One year RN experience preferred or candidates with prior emergency medical services healthcare experience
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
  • Robust orientation to support successful transition to role.
  • Obtain ACLS, PALS and TNCC certification.
