Granite Hills Hospital seeks a Weekend Admission RN to join our dynamic Intake and Admissions Department. The role serves as a clinical liaison to community referral sources, physicians, families, and individuals in behavioral health. You will coordinate admission processes, respond to inquiry calls, referrals, and crisis behavioral health patient needs. You will conduct clinical and suicide assessments, verify insurance, and work with physicians through possible admission.

• Working with a team of Intake/Admission professionals to clinically assess potential patients, verify insurance, and medically triage patients.
• Completing assessments, entering calls and admissions into the computer system, and documenting all clinical interactions.
• Staffing clinical sessions with physicians and completing necessary paperwork through admission.
• Following all regulatory requirements, facility policies, and procedures and maintaining a culture of service excellence.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of three years in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
• Additional Requirements: CPR certification, training in Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment, successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment.
