Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Position – Registered Nurse (RN) Location

VMP Healthcare and Community Living – West Allis, WI (on‑site position)

Status

Full‑Time and Part‑time

Hours
  • 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm
  • 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm
  • 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:30am

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and document changes accurately.
  • Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Every other weekend & holiday rotation required.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • CPR/BLS Certification required
  • Long‑term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
