Location: VMP Healthcare and Community Living – West Allis, WI (on-site position)
Status: Part-Time or Full-Time
Schedule:
1st shift 6am – 2:30pm
2nd shift 2pm – 10:30pm
3rd shift (NOC) 10pm – 6:30am

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility’s team. The RN will provide high-quality, resident centered care while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families to promote the health, safety, and well-being of our residents. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent clinical care in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes accurately
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Respond to resident emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Every other weekend & holiday rotation is required
Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatrics experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- CPR/BLS certification required
