Job SummaryEnsure that products produced, in your area of responsibility, are in accordance with established QA guidelines.
Job Duties- Batter tests.
- Product temperature checks (frozen / fully cooked).
- Box counts / portion weight checks.
- Boneless product inspection.
- Hold / release record keeping.
- Research data for customer complaints.
- Sample collection for fat / moisture analysis.
- Returned product inspection / paperwork.
- FFA test on oils.
- Cooler checks.
- Assist with receiving inspection.
- Tolerant of extended periods of time standing, walking & variation in environment (temperatures, humidity, flour, etc.).
- Bug light checks (weekly).
- Rodent trap checks (inside / outside) (monthly).
- Thermometer calibrations.
- Sanitation inspections (inside outside).
- Mid-shift swabs (as requested).
- Verify monitor tests to satisfy HACCP / SQF.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to cold, some heavy lifting, dust, noise, slippery floors. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Must pass company math test. Computer knowledge and ability to work well with other departments is essential. Self‑motivated, quality‑minded, reliable individual. Must be able to work with little supervision. Ability to use radio/phone system. Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs, up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to work with and handle confidential information.
Must meet the physical abilities evaluation for this position. Must successfully complete all required training.
