Overview
Field Calibration Technician position with Kensington Additive.
Location:
Wisconsin. Travel across the United States 25-40% of the time. Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $38.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Field Calibration Technician
Responsibilities- Will be able to perform calibration
- Basic repair of precision test equipment
- Remain focused on utilizing mechanical dimensional measuring instruments
- Good level of accuracy
- Mechanically astute technician
- Ability to multitask and manage your time well
- A friendly and positive attitude
- Pressure, torque, thermodynamics, weight/force, dimensional measurements including ULMs, micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, and other distance/height gauges
- Previous work involving optical comparators and CMMs
- Electrical or electronic calibration experience
- Practical experience in evaluating tolerance gauges with the ability to research and adapt varying modalities
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 and gauge management software is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of calibration experience
