The Radiation Metrology Specialist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison will lead brachytherapy well chamber and source calibration efforts, overseeing a comprehensive suite of survey meters and life cycle management for sealed and unsealed radioactive sources.
The role mentors staff, leads research in radiation dosimetry, and advances a state-of-the-art activity-based metrological laboratory onsite, reporting to the Calibration Laboratory in the Medical Physics department.
