Roman Electric Co., Inc. is offering a Youth Apprenticeship opportunity for high school students interested in exploring a career in the electrical trade. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside licensed electricians while learning the fundamentals of electrical installation, jobsite safety, and the electrical industry.

This role is part of the Wisconsin Youth Apprenticeship – Architecture & Construction pathway
, combining real jobsite experience with related classroom instruction.

Youth Apprentices may gain experience in commercial construction environments or residential electrical service and installation
, depending on company needs and learning opportunities.

• Electrical jobsite safety and OSHA standards
• Basic electrical tools and equipment
• Electrical materials and components
• Blueprint reading and basic electrical layouts
• How electricians install conduit, wiring, and electrical systems
• Professional skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem solving

• Assist electricians with material handling and jobsite preparation
• Help organize tools and materials for projects
• Observe and support electrical installation activities
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Track required Youth Apprenticeship learning competencies

• Current high school student participating or able to participate in the Youth Apprenticeship Program
• Students that are available 7am-11am (preferred)
• Interest in electrical or construction trades
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and transportation
