Energy Technician

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin – on‑demand travel within the state.

Target Compensation: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour.

• Install energy‑efficient equipment in residential properties.
• Conduct pre‑installation and post‑installation verifications and gather other technical data.
• Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Give input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and issues related to installations.
• Act as local, on‑site program and company representative to customers and contractors, encouraging participation and overcoming barriers.
• Travel throughout the defined territory as required.

• 0–1 year(s) experience in a related industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and able to travel daily within the state.
• Valid driver’s license, age 21 or older.
• Must pass a post‑offer, pre‑employment drug test and maintain a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to work in all climates, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, and lift, carry or push up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work in person in multiple homes per day (field service) and cannot work from home.
