Salary: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour
Position SummaryThe Anodize/Plating Operator is responsible for daily execution of scheduled work, including anodizing and plating. The operator must complete assignments promptly to achieve the highest quality and maximum productivity, demonstrating a strong understanding of industrial chemical processes and safety protocols, and functioning in a controlled environment where precision and adherence to quality standards are mandatory.
Night Shift: 2 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Essential Responsibilities- Perform processing operations per instructions, including racking, un‑racking, loading and unloading of parts; verify internal procedures and customer requirements are followed and met, including accurate data input onto Route Card.
- Work closely with Department Technical and operational leads to resolve issues and contribute to 6S and continuous improvement efforts.
- Coordinate with the department technical lead for Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and immediate containment for quality issues in the process.
- Operate efficiently, communicate issues, and collaborate with leads to develop processes focusing on continuous improvement; maintain the work area in a clean, safe and hazard‑free manner.
- Train and certify personnel for chemical processes as necessary.
- Track supplies and request timely ordering, maintaining an accurate list of materials and supplies for ordering purposes.
- Industry‑specific training welcome (e.g., NASF, AS9100, PRI/Nadcap).
- Experience in chemical processing and surface finishing.
- Strong technical skills in chemical processing and surface finishing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to wear a respirator, steel‑toed shoes, safety glasses for up to 8 hours per day; refer to SOP for facial hair guidelines.
