Job DescriptionAPP – Nurse Practitioner | Physician Assistant
Location: Bayshore, NY
Hours: Sunday through Saturday – 7 days on, 7 days off.
Responsibilities- Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients in line with State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient status.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients preoperatively and manage postoperative clinical care.
- Deliver patient‑centered care focused on improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure or Physician Assistant license.
- At least one year of experience in Oncology/Hematology (helpful but not required).
- Strong computer skills; experience with EMR is a plus.
- Willing to round in South Side Hospital.
Salary up to $165,000/year based on experience. Health insurance on day 1, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, 401k plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays (2 floating), and more.
