Electrical Project Manager

Are you an experienced Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Journeyman looking to take the next step into project management? Join a growing electrical contractor where you'll own projects from start to finish, lead field teams, and play a critical role in project success. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional who wants to transition into a more office-based leadership position while staying connected to field operations.

Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through final closeout

Oversee all phases of project execution, including estimating, planning, scheduling, and client reporting

Prepare project estimates and perform job costing analysis

Take field measurements and develop project scopes when drawings are unavailable

Coordinate directly with clients, vendors, and field personnel

Lead and supervise a team of approximately 6 electricians and field staff

Monitor labor productivity, project budgets, and timelines

Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards

Provide hands-on support in the field when necessary in a smaller-company environment

Electrical industry required

Approximately 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade

Previous experience as a Journeyman, Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar leadership role

Strong understanding of electrical installations, labor planning, and project execution

Experience with estimating, job costing, or project coordination is highly preferred

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain accountability for project outcomes

Proven electrical field experience

Ability to read plans, take field measurements, and develop project solutions

Strong supervisory and team leadership abilities

Comfortable working in both office and field environments as needed

OSHA certification preferred (company will sponsor additional training and certifications)

No college degree required

No formal certifications required

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
