Seeking an experienced Commercial Suppression Systems Technician with hands‑on expertise servicing kitchen hood fire suppression systems. This role is ideal for a technician who can work independently, troubleshoot system issues, and provide reliable service in commercial kitchen and restaurant environments.

• Install, inspect, test, service, and maintain commercial kitchen hood fire suppression systems
• Diagnose system issues and complete repairs as needed
• Perform work in accordance with FDNY codes, NFPA standards, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
• Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with commercial kitchen hood suppression systems
• Experience working with Ansul suppression systems
• FDNY Certificate of Fitness S-17
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours based on restaurant and commercial kitchen schedules
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment

• Experience servicing fire suppression systems in restaurants or commercial kitchens
• Additional experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing commercial fire suppression systems

• $20.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience
• Additional compensation flexibility may be available for highly experienced candidates
• Small sign‑on bonus may be considered for qualified relocation candidates
