Responsibilities
  • Deliver Compassionate Care:
    Provide patient-centered mental health and substance use disorder services to support and improve overall well-being.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide clinical services and health education to improve and maintain the mental health of patients.
  • Deliver high quality behavioral health services through traditional therapy and the behavioral health consultation model.
  • Assess the clinical status and therapeutic needs of underserved patients with mental illness, substance abuse, and chronic diseases through ongoing psychotherapy and/or brief consultative sessions in an integrated service model.
  • Maintain collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in recognizing, addressing, and referring patients with mental illness, substance abuse and psychosocial problems efficiently and effectively to prevent further psychological or medical deterioration.
  • Document clinical activity presenting diagnostic & interview findings, clinical evaluations, psychosocial assessments and recommendations.
  • Formulate, implement, evaluate, and review treatment plans and DSM-IV diagnoses.
  • Assist in preventing relapse or further morbidity in condition that tend to occur over time through the integrated health system.
  • Educate patients and their support systems on prevention and treatment techniques.
  • Maintain an electronic medical record that accurately reflects the services provided and the patient s growth towards treatment goals.
  • Ensure all charts are completed within 24 hours of the patient visit.
What We’re Looking For
  • Current Wisconsin licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist, or a valid training license in one of these disciplines and actively working toward 3,000 supervised hours for full licensure
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the behavioral health consultation model
  • Working knowledge of DSM-IV criteria, with the ability to accurately diagnose and apply diagnoses to support effective treatment planning
  • Strong clinical judgment, collaboration skills, and a patient-centered approach to care
  • The selected candidate for positions in this class are required to undergo Noble’s Provider Credentialing and Privileging which includes extensive background investigation. Per Federal Grant requirements, the selected candidate must not be listed on any debarment or exclusion list.

The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program (LRP) offers primary medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health care clinicians the opportunity to have their student loans repaid while earning a competitive salary in exchange for serving in urban, rural, or tribal communities with limited access to care. State of Wisconsin loan repayment opportunities may also be available.
