Maintains the organization's IT infrastructure, which may include hardware, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, or physical facilities. Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations. The internal Final date to receive applications is 06/12/2026. Work LocationThis position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, Madison or Appleton.
Responsibilities & QualificationsSummary of Responsibilities: The Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our organization’s IT infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments. This includes the management of cloud services, automation tools, virtualized infrastructure, and network services. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of public and private cloud resources to optimize performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize hybrid cloud solutions to enhance scalability, performance, and resource efficiency.
- Implement and manage cloud services, virtualization technologies, and automation tools to improve infrastructure utilization and streamline operations.
- Monitor system availability and performance across cloud and on-premises environments, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Support and maintain critical hybrid cloud infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Partner effectively with team members to build and sustain a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Participate in resolution of complex infrastructure challenges, leveraging knowledge of cloud and virtualization technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve service interruptions in hybrid cloud environments, ensuring quick and effective recovery.
- Conduct root cause analysis for system failures, apply corrective actions, and ensure long-term infrastructure resilience.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, focusing on hybrid cloud architectures.
- Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within hybrid cloud environments.
Preferred
Experience and Skills:
- 4-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on hybrid cloud environments.
- Technical expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible for infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer focus and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, driving results and continuous improvement.
The salary range for this position is $96,842.00-$
