Fastlane is a next level production system, combining software, automation, and machining to dramatically reduce lead times for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing. We’re building highly responsive manufacturing cells designed to serve thousands of customers across the United States with speed, precision, and consistency.

The Floor Supervisor owns the day-to-day execution of production within our Fastlane Manufacturing cells. This role helps keep work flows running smoothly from kitting through machining to final delivery, no time, in spec, and with minimal disruption.

You will lead the operators on the floor, maintain production, and are responsible for keeping standardized processes followed. You are the link between planning, programming, and execution on the shop floor.

This role reports to the Fastlane Program Manager.

Parts Badger is a relaxed, casual work environment located in West Bend and Cedarburg, WI. Parts Badger maintains AS9100 and ISO
9001:2015 certifications. Our West Bend location boasts 20,000 sqft dedicated to our advanced manufacturing (Fast Lane) program, and 15,000 sq. ft in Cedarburg that blends office and production space. We are a job shop with a large variety of part types, sizes and quantities. We work with almost every material available including steels, aluminums, exotics, plastics and more. We continue to develop the layout of our space for idea generation and collaborative work.

• Managing Jobs in ERP and running the scheduler
• Handling exceptions, issues, and operator needs
• Directing activities on the floor
• Ensuring work is on schedule, to spec, and processes are being followed.
• Issuing Tickets and Coordinating with Programmers
• Employee training
• Coordinate training needs and schedule with Fastlane Manager & HR
• Training staff in processes
• Deploy new systems/processes as required
• Ensure shop is organized and maintained
• Kitting Jobs:
  Tooling, work holding and material
• Create purchase orders as needed
• Coordinate any machine repairs and machine maintenance
• Coordinate tooling and supplies need
• Deploy new processes as required including writing and maintaining SOPs
• Prepare for, participate in, and facilitate customer tours

• Manage Staff Schedules, PTO, UPTO, and Overtime.
• Perform bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with operators and machinists
• Genuinely care about the wellbeing of your employees

• Experience in a Lead or Management Role
• Ability to quickly learn new applications (Keyence)
• Experience with Haas Machines
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Machining Industry tooling knowledge
• 3+ Years Machining Experience
• GD&T Knowledge
• Ability to Lead in a Machine Shop Setting
