1st Shift Steel Receiving Clerk; West Bend

Steel Receiver - 1st shift - West Bend

• Follow FIFO instructions on all products
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to the designated area using forklift, hand truck, electric dolly or other device
• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
• Fill out a daily inspection before starting up the forklift
• Assist with routine or general housekeeping tasks as they relate to the plant's 6S plan
• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
• Use the ERP computer system (SAP) for inbound processing of materials
• Other duties as assigned

This position requires someone to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. There may be a few occasions when an employee needs to sit down to log information in the computer system.
