What You’ll Do
  • Operate manual weld machines and automated/motion-control robots to fabricate metal parts and frames.
  • Lift work pieces manually or using hoists to secure them into fixtures, or load automatic feeding devices.
  • Perform basic MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed, welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions according to WPS weld standards.
  • Inspect and measure machined work pieces using instruments like gauges to verify conformance with specifications, inspection sheets, and customer notes.
  • Maintain company quality, efficiency, and productivity standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all corporate, plant, and prescribed safety regulations.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least one year of welding experience or equivalent education (welding certificate/degree preferred); must pass a practical welding test and know basic MIG and tack-welding techniques
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
  • Ability to operate machinery and motion-control robots; familiarity with machine adjustments and automated welding (FANUC certification is a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, manuals, welding symbols, and use basic math
  • Strict adherence to plant safety regulations and corporate standards
  • Must be dependable, a good communicator (with team and supervisors), and adaptable to changing daily duties
