- Evaluate all Quality and Continuous Improvement activities and implement plans to optimize performance and processes
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
- Author, own, and maintain core QMS procedures, work instructions, and process documentation - ensuring they are current, accessible, and actively followed on the floor
- Lead the creation of new quality processes from the ground up: scoping requirements, drafting documentation, piloting with operations teams, and driving adoption through training and follow-up

- Identify gaps in the existing QMS framework and proactively propose, develop, and implement new processes to close those gaps before they result in nonconformances
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring process documentation is audit-ready and that operators can demonstrate conformance to documented procedures
- Ensure Quality Control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
- Monitor and report on quality related KPIs to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system (i.e. scrap monitoring and rework levels)
- Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis
- Define, implement, and maintain in-process inspection and quality control checkpoints throughout the production flow, ensuring critical-to-quality characteristics are verified at the right stages
- Develop and manage Control Plans that align with PFMEA outputs, specifying inspection methods, frequencies, sample sizes, and reaction plans for out-of-control conditions
- Own the nonconforming material process - from identification and segregation through disposition - ensuring suspect product is contained and systemic escapes are prevented
- Collaborate with production and process engineering to design error-proofing solutions into manufacturing processes, reducing reliance on inspection as the primary quality gate
