0.01. Shift: Shift 4.
3rd shift availability required. Some weekends and holidays required. Availability to work five shifts every six‑week schedule period is required.
Job SummaryProviding security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics and parking structures. Concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Responding immediately to various levels of dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusual circumstances, assisting with de‑escalation, and security enforcement. Performs other duties as assigned.
ExperienceOne year of security experience or equivalent.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
TrainingProof of training in Froedtert‑approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the previous three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire is required and includes de‑escalation training. Must complete National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS‑700 and IC‑100 courses within six months of hire. Must have FTO (Field Training Officer) program completed within 120 days. Training or academy may be site specific.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and operation is preferred.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally. Push‑pull force generation up to 100 lbs occasionally. Occasional stair climbing. Frequent walking. Ability to get up and down from floor to standing independently.
LicensureValid driver’s license required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hire.
