This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance on all machines and equipment in a cookware manufacturing environment.

• Perform general maintenance and work on all machines and equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs to all machines and equipment, including alignment of machine spindles, slides, and ways.
• Replace bearings, shafts, gears, and other components.
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic valves and controls, pressure regulators, pumps, tools, and related systems.
• Assist in solving machine problems in production equipment, including operating machines to troubleshoot issues.
• Adjust, align, patch, or replace drives, conveyors, and related mechanisms.
• Inspect and repair hoists, cables, hooks, and shafts.
• Perform all required preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on specified machinery and all manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in the movement of machines, fixtures, materials, and equipment.
• Fabricate components for new machines and installations.
• Read and understand schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, or replicate original parts; occasionally make parts without drawings.
• Fabricate replacement parts requiring welding, cutting, or sheet metal work.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery commonly found in the maintenance department.
• Operate precision measuring equipment with standard competence.
• Work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.

• Accredited Journeyman credentials in machine repair or millwright classifications, or equivalent training and industrial experience.
• 9 years of experience preferred but not limited to.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
