About This Role: This role exists to help people in stressful moments feel safe, respected, and taken care of. As a Tow Truck Operator at Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing, you are often the first point of contact when something goes wrong. Your professionalism, calm presence, and attention to safety help turn a difficult situation into a reassuring experience for the customer.

Your Day Looks Like

Your day involves responding to calls, safely loading and transporting vehicles, and interacting with customers who may be frustrated or overwhelmed. You’ll follow clear procedures, prioritize safety, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. While the work is active and varied, you’ll always know what’s expected and have support from a team that values professionalism and respect.

What We’re Looking For in a Tow Truck Operator
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. (Must be 21 years old for insurance purposes)
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment while following all safety procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with Dispatch and the Towing Manager daily.
  • Use company-provided phones and software to receive and manage calls.
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service—especially in stressful situations.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
  • Adapt to change with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Commit to learning, improvement, and growth within the company.
