Receiving Lead - 1st Shift
Location: West Bend, WI 53090
WB Warehousing & Logistics provides integrated warehousing, material management, food packaging, and distribution services that help our customers operate efficiently and stay competitive.
We are looking for an organized and dependable Receiving Lead to support the accurate and efficient movement of products through our warehouse. This is a hands‑on position responsible for receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing customer orders, and ensuring shipments are properly packaged and documented.
Shift:
Monday through Friday; 7:00AM to 3:30PM. Rotating Saturdays
- Receive, inspect, and sign for incoming deliveries.
- Compare purchase orders against invoices and packing lists.
- Identify and communicate shipment shortages, damage, or discrepancies.
- Unload deliveries and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory items.
- Maintain accurate receiving, delivery, and inventory records.
- Enter shipment and order information into the warehouse management system.
- Use SAP and RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery delays or other issues.
- Assemble customer orders from inventory and stage them for shipment.
- Package products securely and apply accurate shipping labels.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
- Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of warehouse experience.
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Experience using SAP preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong organizational and basic math skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide dependable internal and external customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety information in English.
This position works in an industrial warehouse environment and regularly requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling warehouse materials. Employees must be able to frequently lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds. A Class II safety vest will be provided.
