Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to manage incoming deliveries at our warehouse. This role involves verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing items, processing returns, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The Receiving Specialist will work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.

Shift: Monday through Friday; 9AM to 5:30PM with rotational Saturdays

• Compare purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect deliveries to verify they meet order and invoice criteria.
• Receive and sign for deliveries, unloading items from trucks.
• Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Organize and store received items in designated areas.
• Update inventory records with received items using RF scanning equipment.
• Communicate with vendors regarding delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and inventory.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Assemble customer orders from stock, stage orders for shipping, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience is a plus.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
