Our Lady of Refuge Catholic School is seeking to fill the position with a candidate that is a team player possessing flexibility and an unwavering commitment to students' academic and spiritual development. The teacher fulfills the mission of the Catholic school by guiding, inspiring, and educating students in a loving, Christ-centered environment. The teacher is immediately responsible to the Principal for the carrying out of policies of the school and the Archdiocese of Detroit as they relate to the function of the school, the classroom, and the immediate contact with students and parents.
Professional Requirements:
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship and open communication with parents, students, staff and community members
- Support parents as the primary catechists and educators for their children through relational ministry, resources, and tools
- Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.
- Follow licensing requirements
