Preschool Building Support
We are looking for compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to teachers and students by assisting in classrooms, facilitating lunch breaks, and helping with various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the day. Ideal candidates should enjoy working with young children and be flexible in assisting where needed.
Required qualifications include experience working with young children, strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed, attendance at all mandatory staff meetings, and completion of specified trainings and professional development are also required.
Responsibilities include visiting multiple classrooms daily to provide support as needed, breaking teachers for lunch and assisting with classroom coverage during breaks, knowledge in setting up tables for a "family style meal" setting, interacting with students to provide a positive and nurturing environment, helping with teacher tasks such as organizing materials, working one-on-one with students when additional support is required, and assisting with printing, copying, and laminating.
Fridays will involve coverage in classrooms when teachers need to be relieved for planning/preparation time.
Schedule:
Part Time, 9:30 a.m.

In accordance with the current West Bloomfield School District Community Education Salary Schedule. To begin:
