Produce Receiver

Plum Market is seeking a Produce Receiver to ensure our fresh, natural, and organic produce meets the highest quality standards. In this role, you will receive, inspect, and verify produce deliveries against invoices, check temperatures and quality, and follow food safety and rotation standards. You'll organize and label inventory, maintain a clean, safe backroom and cooler, and communicate with produce and store leaders about discrepancies or quality concerns.

This position supports accurate stock levels, timely staging for the sales floor, and exceptional guest experiences through well-managed, fresh produce.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload produce deliveries safely and efficiently
• Inspect produce for quality, freshness, and food safety standards
• Verify quantities and items against purchase orders and invoices
• Record and report delivery discrepancies or damaged products
• Rotate stock using FIFO and maintain proper labeling and dating
• Organize and maintain clean, safe coolers and backroom areas
• Monitor and document product and cooler temperatures as required
• Stage and replenish produce for the sales floor in a timely manner
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Collaborate with produce and store leaders to support guest service
