Fire Door Fitter

Self‑employed role working within social housing properties across Birmingham and surrounding areas.

This Fire Door Fitter role offers consistent work, weekly pay, and excellent hourly rates depending on whether you require a company van or use your own. You'll be working on a long‑term social housing contract covering the Birmingham area.

This is a role offering stability, ongoing work, and the opportunity to be part of a professional team delivering essential fire safety upgrades. I would love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Fire Door Fitter, Carpenter, Fire Stopping Operative or in a similar fire protection role.

• Installing and fitting fire doors in social housing properties
• Carrying out remedial works and adjustments to existing fire doors
• Ensuring all installations meet current fire safety regulations
• Working in occupied and void properties

• 5+ years’ experience working on fire door contracts
• Your own tools
• Your own transport
• Experience working within social housing (desirable)

• £23 per hour if a van is supplied
• £24 per hour if using your own van
• Weekly pay
• Long‑term contract
• Location & travel within Birmingham and surrounding areas

This role covers Birmingham and surrounding areas. Birmingham offers excellent transport links via the M6, M5, M42 and A38, as well as strong rail connections across the West Midlands, making it easily accessible from neighbouring towns and cities.
