Senior Motorcycle & Quad Mechanic

Multi Trades Recruitment  is looking for an experienced  Senior Motorcycle & Quad Mechanic  to join a well-established and growing workshop team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled technician with strong diagnostic ability and a passion for working on high-performance motorbikes and off-road vehicles.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of motorcycles and ATVs, working on leading brands such as  Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, and Polaris .

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and full engine rebuilds
Work on engines, transmissions, suspension, and braking systems
Repair and maintain fuel-injected systems and ECU diagnostics
Prepare and maintain off-road vehicles (quads/ATVs)
Carry out performance tuning and custom builds (where required)
Ensure all work meets manufacturer and safety standards
Maintain accurate service records and job reports
Supervise and support junior mechanics and apprentices

About You:

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience working on motorcycles and/or ATVs
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

Experience with carbureted and fuel-injected engines
Knowledge of electrical systems and modern diagnostic tools
Relevant qualifications (IMI Level 3/4 or equivalent preferred)
Full UK driving licence (motorcycle licence desirable)

Skills:

Manufacturer training (Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki etc.)
Experience in performance tuning and custom builds
Welding or fabrication skills
MOT Tester qualification (Class 1 &
2)
