We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable and expanding automotive service centre in Wednesbury, West Midlands, for the position of Service Technician.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete complex repairs adhering to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop workflow
  • Perform quality control on completed work
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment to safety standards
  • Assist with repair estimates and communicate technical issues
  • Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Contribute positively to team culture and support colleagues
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Service Technician within the motor trade
  • Proven diagnostic skills with previous training
  • Experience performing complex mechanical repairs
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive customer service approach
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and in team settings
