HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic – Oldbury
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy fleet workshop in Oldbury. Applicants must have previous HGV workshop experience, hold a recognised Level 3 heavy vehicle qualification, a valid manual driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Oldbury, West Midlands, B69
Salary: around £40,000 with free hgv driver training and training to master tech level to your salary plus sign on bonus of £1500
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8-5 | 42 hours per week
: 30800

HGV Technician Role Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults
Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
Prepare HGVs and commercial vehicles for annual MOT testing
Complete repairs to required safety and quality standards
Accurately complete workshop and maintenance documentation
Maintain high workshop and Health & Safety standards
HGV Technician Requirements Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent recognised heavy vehicle technical qualification
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or LCV Technician
Strong servicing, repair and fault-finding experience
Full UK, Irish or EU Class C or CE manual driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Ability to successfully complete the required pre-employment screening process
