Overview
The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs will perform all necessary responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Vice President for Student Affairs. Duties include but are not limited to:
- correspondence
- purchasing
- data input
- records management
- assisting visitors
- general support for the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Student Affairs office
Requires a proven ability to work successfully as part of a team in a high-demand, multi-tasking, detail-oriented environment. Ethical, compassionate, energetic and positive demeanor is essential for this front-line role that involves consistent demonstration of well-refined customer service skills due to extensive contact with students, colleagues, faculty, and the general public.
Compensation and BenefitsThis position is a full-time position (261 workdays per year). The starting salary is $50,000 per year.
Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, $50,000 life insurance, long-term disability, paid sick leave, paid discretionary leave, 15 days' vacation, paid spring and holiday breaks and participation in IPERS or TIAA-CREF retirement plan.
Employment AgreementThe Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs will abide by the employment contract and relevant policies and guidelines of the Board of Trustees.
