Job Overview
Maintain the operation of the AEL office located at the Mt. Pleasant Center with a high level of accuracy and data integrity. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining program records (preparing reports, preserving student records, filing, course preparation, creating/modifying documents), proctoring High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) tests, requisitioning materials and supplies, correspondence, and other duties as assigned.
Compensation and BenefitsThis is a full‑time position with a starting hourly wage of $15.30. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM with a 30 minute meal break. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, $50,000 life insurance, long‑term disability, paid sick leave, paid vacation, paid holiday and spring breaks, and participation in IPERS or TIAA retirement plan.
Terms and ExpectationsTerms of employment are per bargaining agreement between SCC Board of Trustees and the SCCESA, employment contract, and relevant policies and guidelines of the Board of Trustees. Upholds college policies and procedures and supports and participates in college-wide initiatives. Actively promotes a positive image for the college district. Supports SCC's mission, vision, values, and goals.
