Field Technician- Southern IA Territory, AG

Join us as a Field Technician - Southern IA Territory, AG at Altorfer Cat.

Location: Southern Iowa (including Wapello, Washington, Keokuk, and Iowa counties)

Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field service repairs on agricultural equipment, focusing on Terragators, Rogators, Claas Lexion combines, Fendt, Challenger, Massey Ferguson Tractors, and other CAT Ag products.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers.
• Use computer and parts catalogs to identify parts.
• Complete service reports and related paperwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a formal technical training program or equivalent agricultural machinery experience.
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CAT programs).
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements: Working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing, and operating machinery. Reasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals.
