QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Tech position available at a company in West Burlington, IA. This is a direct hire position with all shifts available.

• Perform basic Preventive Maintenance on a wide variety of Equipment, using maintenance requests, prints, diagrams and manuals.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and perform maintenance or repairs on equipment, facilities and similar environmental systems.
• Perform basic building maintenance including cleaning, repairing broken items, electrical, and plumbing.
• Maintain various devices by removing defective parts and adjusting any functional parts.
• Assist with installation of various machines and equipment using plant schematics, wiring diagrams, precision measuring tools and equipment manuals.
• Comply with required company and OSHA designated training, this includes but is not limited to, Lock out Tag out, Confined Space, Fall Protection and Hot Works.
• Promote an environment of Continuous Improvement to equipment, machines, facilities and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Contribute to team effort by performing all other duties as assigned to benefit the overall goals and success of the company.

• 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
