RN Nurse, Director of Nursing, Healthcare Nursing
Minimum hiring wage:
From $35.79 per hour.
Job details: $15,000 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.
Scheduled hours: 7:00pm–7:30am, every other weekend.
Job DescriptionTo aid and assist in the development, implementation, utilization and maintenance of the day‑to‑day operations of the inpatient nursing unit. Works closely with departmental managers and directors in the assistance of staff and patient needs while performing as an integral role in department operations, including but not limited to assigning work, real‑time coaching and rewarding.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily nursing operations.
- Coordinate with managers and directors for staff and patient support.
- Assign work and provide real‑time coaching and recognition to nursing staff.
- Maintain active status on required trainings and certifications.
- Participate in preceptor and mentor activities for new staff.
Required:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Registered Nursing license in the State of Iowa.
- Current and active status on all required trainings and education as outlined by corporate policy.
- BLS/ACLS/Basic Dysrhythmia certification.
- Experience as preceptor and mentor for nursing staff.
Preferred:
- 2–5 years of experience in acute medical care.
- 2–5 years of experience providing adult education.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Board certification in nursing education, professional nursing development, or acute care.
