Job Details
$10,000 sign on bonus eligibility for qualified candidates. Scheduled
Hours:
8 hour shifts when in staffing and 12 hour shifts when in the Clinical Facilitator role with on call requirements.
This position requires that the nurse work providing patient care on a regular basis and possesses strong communication skills to effectively work with patients, families, physicians and all other health care disciplines.
- Effective and efficient utilization of resources and day to day operations of the surgical schedule
- Staff schedules
- Staff assignments
- Staff development
- Quality monitoring
- Assistance with development and implementation of improvement action plans and department project work
- Strict adherence to standards of care related to the perioperative patient population utilizing best practice
- High functioning, independent practitioner able to work closely with nursing leadership on the development of additional services and staff needs
- Function as a resource to the department of nursing for patient related needs
- Strong communication, time organizational and leadership skills essential
- Co-chair for department staff meeting, participating in agenda preparations
- Associate Degree in nursing (ADN) required
- Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing or other related field
- Health care experience within the last five years preferred OR experience preferred
- Electronic documentation/ keyboarding experience preferred
- IV Conscious Sedation experience preferred
