Responsibilities- Use a floor buffer or extractor to clean hallway, dining room, and common area floors daily
- Use a floor stripper to remove wax as needed and clean, re‑apply wax according to the cleaning schedule
- Respect residents’ privacy and preferences about room arrangement and personal items
- Remove trash according to department procedures
- Takes appropriate actions to keep housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times
- Disposes of trash and waste, including bi‑hazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, only in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Post signs indicating a safety hazard whenever housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards
- Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure
- Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prefer one year of experience on industrial floors
