• Use a floor buffer or extractor to clean hallway, dining room, and common area floors daily
• Use a floor stripper to remove wax as needed and clean, re‑apply wax according to the cleaning schedule
• Respect residents’ privacy and preferences about room arrangement and personal items
• Remove trash according to department procedures
• Takes appropriate actions to keep housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times
• Disposes of trash and waste, including bi‑hazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, only in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Post signs indicating a safety hazard whenever housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards
• Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prefer one year of experience on industrial floors
