Mercedes Benz of West Chester – West Chester, OH 45069

Salary: $100,000 – $160,000 base + commission per year.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5pm.

Body Shop Technician at Mercedes Benz Luxury Collision, a Hudson Automotive Company.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Repair collision-damaged vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
• Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials and report any deviations to management.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
• Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain and be accountable for all dealership‑owned tools and manuals. Return them to the proper place and in the same condition as received.
• Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right‑to‑Know, etc.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.

• 5+ years collision technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Detail oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
