Long Term Substitute Teacher - 1 FTE

The TEACHER K-6 for Lakota Local Schools is responsible for creating an engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for students in grades K-6. This role involves designing and delivering high-quality instruction aligned with state standards, fostering student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. The teacher supports differentiated learning needs, implements evidence-based instructional practices, and cultivates a positive classroom culture that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
Appropriate PK-5, K-8, 1-8, 4-9 Science & Social Studies Licensure
Working Conditions:
7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week, 184 days per school year calendar.

Vacancies occurring after July 1st will be posted and regularly contracted members may apply for these vacancies but will no longer be given preference. External candidates hired during this time will be hired on an expiring contract as a one (1) year Long Term Substitute. Administration will review all applicants who have completed an online application. Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check.
