Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with industrial designers and marketing teams to align design with brand identity.
• Optimize product ergonomics, usability, and manufacturability.
• Define & document product specifications including weight, dimensions, materials, & tolerances.
• Maintain specification databases and version control.
• Conduct physical tests for weight, dimensions, drop resistance, compression, and environmental durability.
• Analyze test results and recommend design changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ASTM, ISO).

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work with sourcing, packaging, and quality assurance teams.
• Support supplier qualification and production ramp-up.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.

Experience:

1-2 years in CPG product development or related field.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or related field.

Skills:

• CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD), measurement tools, testing rigs.
• Ability to interpret test data and optimize product performance.
• Strong written and verbal skills for documentation and team collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year.

  Available after 90 days from joining, accrued on a pro-rata basis.
