We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Bill of Material Coordinator to support our Stormwater Engineering team. This role is responsible for developing accurate Bills of Material (BoMs), preparing production drawings, and coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule. About the Role:
- Develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for stormwater projects using engineering drawings, specifications, and product standards.
- Read, interpret, and review engineering drawings, site plans, technical specifications, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain production documentation and manufacturing drawings to support fabrication and project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, commercial operations, and customer service teams to clarify project requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Verify BOMs and production documentation prior to release to manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Create, revise, and maintain BOMs and supporting documentation as project requirements or engineering changes occur.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and JD Edwards (JDE) to develop and manage engineering documentation and meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Support continuous improvement of BOM processes, documentation standards, and workflow efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Required
- Associate degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and site plans.
- Understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to safely navigate manufacturing facilities and construction sites when required.
Preferred
- Academic or professional experience with current versions of AutoCAD.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, or construction-related documentation.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards software.
