Base salary range – $100-$115K

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency across all accounting operations.
Responsibilities- Own the monthly close process (timeline, checklists, reconciliations)
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and proper classifications
- Prepare management reporting packages for leadership and the board
- Support budget vs. actuals and variance analysis (in partnership with FP&A/CFO)
- Monitor daily/weekly cash position
- Manage AR collections and credit policies
- Oversee AP timing and payment controls
- Accounts Receivable
- Invoicing accuracy and timeliness
- Collections process and aging management
- Revenue recognition support
- Accounts Payable
- Invoice processing controls
- Expense reimbursement oversight
- Company credit card management
- Payroll
- Payroll processing or oversight
- Payroll tax compliance
- Coordination with HR on changes and benefits
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors
- Ensure timely tax filings (payroll, sales/use, income tax support)
- Support lender reporting and covenant compliance
- Own accounting systems (ERP, expense tools)
- Improve close efficiency and data quality
- Recommend automation and process improvements
- Scale finance operations as the company grows
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with a flexible schedule.
- Experience with policy and procedure design and maintenance, ensuring segregation of duties
