Tax Manager

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Manager to lead and execute multi-state tax compliance and reporting across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. This role partners with finance, legal, operations, and external advisors to ensure accurate filings, manage audits, and drive tax efficiency. Ideal candidates bring strong technical tax expertise, data analysis skills, and experience in multi-state environments.

• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance, including income, sales & use, and business taxes
• Coordinate with external advisors (e.g., Big
  4) on filings, audits, and tax notices
• Prepare and review book-to-tax reconciliations, tax adjustments, and depreciation schedules
• Execute apportionment calculations and track state-specific requirements
• Oversee sales & use tax filings, reconciliations, and audit support
• Administer business licenses, registrations, and renewals across jurisdictions
• Manage tax data analysis and reporting, including partner distributions and leadership reporting
• Identify tax risks, credits, and planning opportunities
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline tax processes and ensure compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in corporate tax or public accounting
• Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and reporting
• Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with tax software and financial systems
