Job SummaryUnder supervision, responsible for the delivery and pick‑up of patient orders for medications, supplies, and equipment in a safe, effective, and timely manner. Additional duties include cleaning and maintenance of infusion control devices, processing enteral supply orders, and managing hazardous waste.
Schedule & CompensationSchedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $19.00 – $24.00 /hr (DOE)
- Provide a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and communication to build and maintain our customer base.
- Multi‑task and frequently change direction while maintaining integrity.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable vehicle for deliveries.
- Organize delivery routes and prepare daily Distribution Route Sheets.
- Deliver patient orders and conduct in‑home patient supply inventories, obtaining signatures on Delivery Tickets.
- Pick up supplies and equipment at the completion of patient therapy and complete paperwork for returned goods.
- Submit a Delivery Report to the Operations Supervisor and complete designated delivery paperwork.
- Clean, inspect, and perform functional tests of infusion control devices and related equipment.
- Pick, assemble, and package internal orders as needed.
- Participate in the on‑call schedule.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection and maintain vehicles in clean, proper working order per policy.
- Maintain emergency supply kit inventories in delivery vehicles.
- Assist in keeping warehouse and inventory areas clean and orderly.
- Report all accidents, vehicle damage, moving violations, or driver’s license suspensions to the Operations Supervisor.
- Provide high‑quality services to home‑care patients and referral sources.
- Attend and participate in conventions, trade shows, and in‑services relating to IV therapy.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain effective working relationships and cooperate with all personnel.
- Adhere to company compliance requirements as stated in the policy manuals and related policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are required. Basic organizational skills and the ability to read a map, communicate well with patients and employees, and maintain reliable attendance are essential.
Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma. Knowledge of medical supplies/home healthcare is desirable.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, and use hands for handling tools or controls. Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 60 pounds.
Work EnvironmentPrimarily an office setting with standard office equipment. Employees may travel by automobile and be exposed to changing weather conditions.
Essential Job Functions & Background ScreeningSuccessful completion of a drug screen before employment is required, covering medical and recreational marijuana. Background screening is part of the hiring process.
