Center Well Home Health is seeking an Inventory Planning Clerk to support our Inventory Management department within Healthcare & Medical Services. In this role, you will monitor stock levels, process purchase orders, track deliveries, and reconcile inventory records to ensure essential medical supplies are available for in-home patient care. You will collaborate with clinical and operations teams, maintain accurate data in inventory systems, and assist with cycle counts and audits.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of medical supplies, equipment, and materials in the inventory management system
- Monitor stock levels, usage trends, and par levels for home health supplies and recommend appropriate reorder quantities
- Process and track supply requests from clinicians and branches to ensure timely availability of required items
- Create and update purchase requisitions or internal transfer orders based on approved inventory plans
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, checking quantities, product details, and expiration dates
- Update inventory systems promptly after receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments to keep on-hand balances accurate
- Organize and label storage areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventories, investigating and documenting discrepancies
- Communicate with clinical staff and vendors to resolve backorders, substitutions, delivery delays, or product issues
- Generate and review basic inventory and usage reports, escalating concerns about shortages, overstock, or waste to supervisors
- Support compliance with Center
- Well's policies, as well as healthcare regulations and quality standards related to supplies and equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline inventory workflows and reduce errors or waste
Required Skills
- Inventory management and control
- Basic supply chain and materials planning
- Data entry and database management
- Use of inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net
- Suite, or similar)
- Proficiency with Excel and other spreadsheet tools (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- Purchase order and receiving processes
- Stock rotation and expiration-date management
- Basic understanding of medical supplies and durable medical equipment
- Recordkeeping and documentation accuracy
- Analytical skills for interpreting usage and stock reports
- Problem-solving and root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies
- Time management and prioritization
- Written and verbal communication with clinical and vendor partners
- Attention to detail and organization
- Familiarity with healthcare quality, safety, and infection control practices
