Hotel Maintenance Technician

As a Hotel Maintenance, you will be responsible for all engineering and maintenance operations, including maintaining the building and grounds with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

• Assisting in management of the building including, equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems
• Maintaining and operating all equipment at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety
• Ensuring compliance with, and fair administration of all Engineering department policies, standards and procedures
• Managing department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Maintaining accurate logs and records as required
• Handling guest problems and complaints effectively and in a timely manner

We are looking for a Hotel Maintenance Technician with solid leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and sufficient familiarity with all employee positions to perform duties in employees' absence. It is also important that you have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

• High school diploma or GED; 2-year Associate’s degree from an accredited in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major, a plus
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
• Technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
