Fabricator/Fitters & TIG Welders
Fabrication Fitter assembles, fits, and welds stainless steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications to produce high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies. This role requires strong technical skills in metal fabrication, precision measuring, and a solid understanding of stainless-steel materials and fabrication techniques.
Responsibilities- Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to meet customer specifications and project requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop plans, and engineering drawings to determine fabrication steps and welding requirements.
- Use measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures on a daily basis to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.
- Fit and assemble stainless steel components prior to welding to achieve accurate alignment and high-quality finished assemblies.
- Perform TIG welding and other welding operations on stainless steel components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Help develop and refine designs for welding and fabrication projects by providing practical input based on fabrication experience.
- Operate a variety of fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently as part of the production process.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and efficient manner, following established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision and management to support fabrication operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop plans for fabrication and welding work.
- Proficiency in TIG welding and general welding techniques for stainless steel fabrication.
- Experience using measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, and tape measures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Capability to identify, cut, and form tubing and fittings to match customer specifications.
- Strong understanding of basic math to support measuring, layout, and fabrication tasks (preferred).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new fabrication methods and processes (required).
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, particularly with stainless steel materials.
- Comfort using a variety of fabrication tools and equipment in a shop environment.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and improve welding project designs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Reliable work habits, including punctuality and consistent performance during scheduled shifts.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a fabrication shop environment focused on stainless steel welding and assembly. You will work on 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., using equipment such as TIG welders, cutting tools, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures. The setting is fast-paced and safety-oriented, with established procedures for operating tools and handling materials. Appropriate work attire suitable for a fabrication and welding shop is expected, with adherence to all safety and protective equipment requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of West Chester, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
