Incoming Inspector
Location:
West Chester, OH Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour 1st Shift | 10-hour shifts | Monday – Friday
Here's what it takes to make yours count:
- 1 year of previous manufacturing, inspection, warehouse, or quality control experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer/data entry skills
- Experience using precision measuring instruments preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and adapt
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming material orders for accuracy, counts, and quality compliance
- Perform PMI (Positive Material Identification) using a Niton gun
- Verify invoices, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Conduct dimensional and surface finish (Ra) inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Organize pallets, boxes, and incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate records and data entry within company systems
- Follow all quality procedures, safety guidelines, and inspection standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and product quality
