WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Retail Carts Co‑worker, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers by performing the following duties:
- Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services while maintaining a clean loading zone by clearing straps, excess carts, and cardboard.
- Ensure all physical shopping tools (carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine) are adequately stocked and maintained throughout business hours.
- Fill physical shopping tools at closing.
- Monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report IT issues, and remove any unsafe stands or tools.
- Address customer needs, resolve issues independently, and escalated matters to a manager when needed.
- Support other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect as needed.
- When supporting FSHO, provide customers with a simple and efficient handout experience.
- When supporting returns, ensure products and equipment are properly staged.
- When supporting Click & Collect, create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff.
- Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co‑workers and customers.
Physical Demands: Lifting up to 50 lbs and walking frequently.
Working Conditions: Outdoor 50% of the time.
